Matel is an Award-winning filmmaker from Annecy, France who’s created films & commercials for organizations and brands including UNESCO, British Airways, Desigual, Foncia and Four Seasons hotels.

 

His comparison of Paris & New York for OpenSkies was recognised by AdWeek, BuzzFeed, Vimeo & Le Figaro amongst others as well as gaining 7 awards and the Grand Jury prize at Finisterra Arrábida Film Art & Tourism Festival.

 

Living in the French Alps where he spends as much time outdoors in nature as possible, his career has taken influence from starting in London as an editor, and living in Paris, California and western Canada whilst travelling extensively in between across North America, Europe, Asia and New Zealand.  His new work home is the Geneva area, but continues to travel frequently wherever a good opportunity takes him.

 

From concept through to the final videos, he’s got 10+ years experience working independently as a filmmaker and takes on a couple of larger projects a year working freelance with a team.
